BOIL WATER NOTICE UPDATE

 

Harris County WCID No. 74 remains under a Boil Water Notice.

The notice affects the following areas:

• High Meadows (South)

• Fair Green

• Eastex Freeway

 

If you pay your water bill to Harris County WCID No. 74, you are currently under the Boil Water Notice.

 

As a precaution, please continue to boil all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, making ice, and food preparation until further notice.

 

The District has submitted the required water samples and is currently awaiting laboratory test results. Please note that laboratory results may not be returned today. Because results could extend into the weekend, residents are strongly encouraged to continue boiling water throughout the weekend until the District issues an official notice rescinding the Boil Water Notice.

 

For your safety, do not assume the notice has been lifted until you receive an official notification from Harris County WCID No. 74.

We understand the inconvenience this causes and appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work through the required testing process to ensure the water is safe for consumption.

ACTUALIZACIÓN DEL AVISO DE HERVIR EL AGUA  05.29.2026

 

El Distrito de Control y Mejoramiento del Agua del Condado de Harris No. 74 (Harris County WCID No. 74) permanece bajo un Aviso de Hervir el Agua.

 

El aviso afecta a las siguientes áreas:

High Meadows (Sur) 

Fair Green 

Eastex Freeway

 

Si usted paga su factura de agua al Harris County WCID No. 74, actualmente está sujeto al Aviso de Hervir el Agua.

 

Como medida de precaución, continúe hirviendo toda el agua utilizada para beber, cocinar, cepillarse los dientes, hacer hielo y preparar alimentos hasta nuevo aviso.

 

El Distrito ha presentado las muestras de agua requeridas y actualmente está esperando los resultados de las pruebas de laboratorio. Tenga en cuenta que los resultados del laboratorio podrían no recibirse hoy. Debido a que los resultados podrían extenderse hasta el fin de semana, se recomienda encarecidamente a los residentes que continúen hirviendo el agua durante todo el fin de semana hasta que el Distrito emita un aviso oficial levantando el Aviso de Hervir el Agua.

 

Por su seguridad, no asuma que el aviso ha sido levantado hasta que reciba una notificación oficial del Harris County WCID No. 74.

 

Entendemos los inconvenientes que esto ocasiona y agradecemos su paciencia y cooperación mientras completamos el proceso de pruebas requerido para garantizar que el agua sea segura para el consumo.
